SWATI - Founder & CREATIVE DIRECTOR-CHOREOGRAPHER
Swati started Starrz Dance few yrs back with passion for dancing. She is a trained Classical dancer and has always strived towards making dancing a beautiful experience. Starrz Dance teaches various dance style from Semi-classical to Hiphop. Starrz Dance believes that dancing helps to develop your confidence and your personality. You learn to be a good team member and great social person. Swati and her team has always presented unique choreos. The Starrz Dance Groups have been appreciated and applauded by many celebrities and choreographers from Bollywood like Javed Jaffery, Geeta Kapoor, Punit Pathak, Muddadsar and many more. The team have performed in many celebrity events in Bay Area. It brings out the creativity and positivity in an individual. For teenagers it is a great stress buster and for adults its a great way to stay fit.
AKSHAY SAVALE - CREATIVE DIRECTOR & LEAD CHOREOGRAPHER
Akshay has been part of Starrz Dance from the day it started and has taught numerous students over the period of 10 years. His forte is Hiphop, Lyrical hiphop , contemporary and Bollywood free style. He was part of Starrz Sr Grp and has won many solo and group dancing awards in and out of state, trained under Bollywood and Hollywood choreographers like Chris Judd, Mia Michaels, Dave Scott, Terrance Lewis, and Brian Friedman. He even taught a workshop with Siddhesh Pai. Akshay competed in Dance India Dance North America and placed in top 5. After moving to NYC for college, he joined a professional dance crew called Unique Movement and recently became the captain of the team. Though he moved to the other side of the country, Akshay did not forget Starrz and opened a branch in Manhattan where he has over 10 students. Akshay hopes that more people follow his path and see dancing as a great way to express themselves and a good way to keep the body and mind fit.
ANUSHKA - ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR
Anushka is a very talented dancer and team member. She is learning Bharatnatyam from Radica Giri. Lately she has started taking Jazz lessons. She has choreographed many dances for our teams along with our other instructors. She loves choreographing and teaching . She is favorite among all the Starrz students.
Anuradha T - LEAD BHaratnatyam Teacher
Anuradha started learning Bharatnatyam in the year 1996 and acquired Certification in the year 2007 at Hyderabad, Telangana. Anuradha has performed in All India Dance Festival in Delhi and in National Television in Mumbai. She has experience in Bharatnatyam, Bollywood, Regional folk and other dance forms. She has choreographed and performed in many classical, semi-classical and Bollywood, folk dance form routines in various professional events. Anuradha is an approachable and dedicated dance instructor who is keen to share her passion for dance by establishing collaborative relationships with students and encouraging them to succeed in the learning journey.
Bhavya Reddy - Bollywood CHOREOGRAPHER
Dance has been my passion for as long as I can remember. From the moment I took my first step onto the dance floor, I knew that this art form would be my life's calling. Over the years, I've trained extensively in various dance styles – Free Style, Hip-hop , Folk & Bollywood, honing my skills, and deepening my understanding.
I have choreographed and participated in many dance programs and various other professional events.
As a dance teacher, my mission is to inspire, empower, and guide each of my students to unlock their full potential. Whether you're a beginner taking your first steps or an experienced dancer looking to refine your technique, my goal is to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where you can thrive. Let's dance together and make magic happen on the dance floor!
Ashwini - Bollywood Chroeographer
Ashwini has been dancing since her childhood. She is very passionate about dance and also passionate about helping young kids learn to dance. She has been a part of the STARRZ family for 2 years and now she teaches at our Tracy location.
